Buenos Aires, November 20 (NA) — Tickets are now on sale to cheer for Las Leonas (women's team) and Los Leones (men's team) at the start of the seventh season of the FIH Pro League, which will be held from December 9 to 14 at the Estadio Provincial in Santiago del Estero. According to what the Argentine News Agency (NA) was able to confirm, this will be the only opportunity to see both national teams in the country, as it will be the only window played on home soil, which enhances the appeal of an event that will bring together some of the best teams in the world. Each Argentine team will play four matches in this opening stage of the competition. Los Leones will face the current men's champions, the Netherlands, and debutants Pakistan, while Las Leonas will face Germany and the current Olympic champions, the Netherlands. The Pro League marks the beginning of a journey of 144 matches that will extend until June 2026 and that, in addition to the title, will have an extra incentive: the champions will qualify directly for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. With this calendar, Santiago del Estero becomes the first step on a path towards the Olympic future. Tickets can be purchased through the Ticketeko portal and at the stadium box offices from December 9 to 14 between 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Each ticket is valid for the two matches of the day and has a general cost of $10,000 plus $1,500 for service. In case of rain or thunderstorms, the matches may be rescheduled or cancelled according to the International Hockey Federation's regulations, with no refund in case of cancellation due to force majeure.
